A portrait photo of Mea Trenor - Producer, writer and storyteller.

Mea Trenor is a biologist and award-winning wildlife filmmaker.

Her career kicked off in 2004 in the multimedia and advertising world – but soon her passion for nature swayed her into furthering her studies and obtaining a master’s degree in Zoology.
That became an adventure in itself: amphibian research, field work, a job at an aquarium and treks through the Costa Rican jungles. Ultimately, storytelling merged with her scientific background and brought to life the perfect career – wildlife filmmaking.
She soon carved a niche in marine films with multiple productions for Nat Geo Wild’s popular Shark Fest and her pride and joy, ‘The Ocean’s Greatest Feast’ (PBS Nature, Blue Ant Media, Bonne Pioche, N-TV). Her latest works include a 3-part series ‘The Wild Sides’ produced for Terra Mater.
